PRODUCTION

With a decade in the industry, I’ve produced iconic music festivals with a heart – focusing on philanthropic endeavors. My events have painted cities around the globe, seamlessly blending local talent with global exposure. Starting as a childhood DJ, today I spin records in global cities from Miami to Tokyo. My multicultural roots and humble beginnings inspire my craft, emphasizing creativity over budget and valuing every individual’s potential.

BACKGROUND

From a rebellious youth challenging societal norms to a devoted humanitarian and artist, my life is a mosaic of diverse experiences. Sound engineering was my entry into the music world, thanks to my mentor Tony ‘Rasta’ Thewet. From reggae to Latin, and from local studios to world tours, music has been the constant force in my journey.

LIFESTYLE

Living mindfully defines me. The ‘Brooks factor’ encompasses a conscious lifestyle, from eco-friendly choices to a vegan diet. Personal growth is a daily pursuit, with brand development and marketing adding to my repertoire. My events, such as the Miami Reggae Festival, have combined entertainment with humanitarian causes, resulting in significant positive impacts.

WHO AM I?

Understanding me requires tracing my journey from the Caribbean to NYC. Music was my gift from my parents, which turned into my life’s refuge. Through my trials in New York and moments of introspection, music remained my anchor. I’ve faced adversity, challenged norms, and embarked on a relentless quest for self-discovery. The essence? I am change, authenticity, and energy. I am a reflection of my past, the embodiment of my present, and the promise of my future.

JOURNEY

Beyond being a sound engineer, I’m a believer in life’s endless potential. From a rebel to a visionary, I have donned many hats. My mission? Propagate African and Diaspora Arts and Culture in the U.S. Who am I? A complex blend of my past, present, and future aspirations, always evolving and seeking clarity.

THIS IS ME

Life’s lessons have taught me that our true essence isn’t just in what we do, but in who we are. If there’s advice I’d share, it’s this: Dream, Act, Be. Every day, I strive to create a legacy, inspired by my Caribbean roots, and driven by a passion to change the world.
